Privacy policy

Shisha2U (“we”) connects customers with shisha lounges in Lebanon that deliver. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Account: your email address, your name, and how you sign in (password, Google or Apple).
• Phone number: so the shop delivering your order can call you. Shop owners give a mobile number so we can reach them.
• Location and addresses: the spot you choose on the map, the delivery address you write, and any addresses you save. We use your device's location only when you tap “Use my current location”.
• Orders: what you ordered, from which shop, when, and its status.
• Reviews: the stars and comments you post. These are public, shown with your name.
• Order chat messages: what you and the shop write to each other about an order. The chat can be used while the order is in progress and for 12 hours after it's delivered or cancelled.
• Support messages: what you send us through Contact support, with your name, email, phone number and (for shops) your shop name, so we can answer you by email.
• Notifications: a device token, if you allow notifications.
• App version: sent with support messages, to help us fix problems.

How we use it

To show shops that deliver to you, to pass your order (name, phone, address, location and note) to the shop you ordered from, to let you and the shop message each other about the order, to send you order updates, to answer your support messages, and to keep the service working and safe. We don't sell your data or show you ads.

Who we share it with

• The shop you order from: the details it needs to prepare and deliver your order, and the chat messages you send it about that order.
• Shisha2U staff: a small team can read order chats when needed to handle a complaint or dispute, and reads the support messages you send us. Staff access requires two-step sign-in.
• Service providers that run the app for us: Supabase (database and accounts), Expo, Google Firebase and Apple (delivering notifications), Zoho (our email: account emails and support messages), OpenStreetMap / Nominatim (maps and turning a map pin into an address), and Google or Apple if you sign in with them.

Keeping and deleting your data

You can delete your account at any time in Account › Delete account. This removes your profile, reviews, saved addresses, favourites, the messages you wrote in order chats, and your support messages. Orders stay in the shop's records without your name, phone, address or location. Replies we already sent you by email stay in our support mailbox; ask us if you want those deleted too.

Age

Shisha2U is only for adults aged 18 or over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger.
